Training and playing days

TRAINING

For most mixed teams grades 4-12, team training is on a Wednesday evening sometime between 4pm-8pm at Wainoni Park. However, dependent on coach and pitch availability, we also have training slots on other weeknights at Greenhithe War Memorial Park and Hobsonville War Memorial.

Skills Centre training is generally on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Training schedules and field allocations will be decided once the final number of teams are known.

GAME DAY

First Kicks plays on Saturdays 8am-9am; Fun Footballers play Saturdays between 9am-10.30am and Junior games will be on a Saturday mornings from 10am. 

TRAINING CANCELLATIONS

Training is normally only canceled because:(a) Grounds have been closed by Auckland Council in order to protect the playing fields, or(b) The coach of the team has decided that the weather conditions on the day are unsuitable for practice.

Ground closures are decided by 2pm and publicised on the Auckland Council website

If the coach has decided to cancel practice he/she will do their utmost to contact you, however, if you are unsure please contact your coach.

GAME CANCELLATIONS 

Games are normally only canceled if weather conditions are treacherous. 

Cancellations will be posted via Facebook and/or communicated to coaches/managers.

If you are unsure whether your game has been canceled or not please contact your coach/manager for clarification.
