Congratulations to the U11 Phantoms, our latest Team of the Week!

Despite being hit hard by injuries and absences, the Phantoms earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Albany at the weekend. After taking a narrow lead by half-time, they defended with incredible determination to hold on for the win.

Coach Stu Hartley was especially proud of the way his team responded in a physical contest.

"The boys represented the club with true professionalism and the spirit that we are so proud of at GFC," he said. "Finishing the last 10 mins with only six players, the boys dug deep and defended as a whole team. I am so unbelievably proud of the boys."

Congratulations to the U11 Phantoms on a fantastic display of resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship.
