football fitness programme
Greenhithe FC is running a four-week pre-season football fitness programme for kids aged eight to 12. This will help players build strength, fitness and mobility ahead of the new season.
📅 Starts Monday 16 February, 5pm
📍 Wainoni Park, Greenhithe
💲 $20 for four one-hour sessions
The sessions focus on:
- Strength and conditioning
- Core stability and mobility
- Injury prevention
- Building good training habits before the season begins
The programme is based on the FIFA 11+ warm-up, an internationally recognised approach which has been proved to reduce injury risk and support long-term player wellbeing. Sessions draw on age-appropriate exercises from FIFA 11+ for Kids.
This is the ideal way to ease back into football, set strong foundations, and give players the best chance of a successful, injury-reduced season.
