How to join Greenhithe FC for the 2026 winter season

Great news - there is no change to registration fees for 2026, First Kicks has even reduced!  Greenhithe FC's registration fees have remained the same since 2022.

What's Included?

Greenhithe FC's fees are amongst the lowest on the North Shore. The fees cover:

  • Playing strip (shirt and shorts) - returned at the end of the season 
  • Team photograph & Club Prizegiving (excludes Seniors)

GFC club socks can be purchased direct from the club at Wainoni Park or from our Club Shop (plus lots of other exciting supporter gear).

​​​​​​​Paying via Debit Card or Credit Card

Club registration fees must be paid at the time of registration by Credit or Debit Card only.  Greenhithe FC does not charge a transaction fee.

How do I know what Grade my child is?

Football works on the basis of the age that the child turns during the year/season.

For example, if a child turns seven during 2026, they are considered U7 for the 2026 season, and accordingly would register for First Kicks Football which is designed for Under 5 to Under 7 year olds.

First Kicks Football (U5 - U7)

2026 Registration fee: $125 ($30 less than last season!)

Fun Football (U8-U9)

2026 Registration fee: $155

Mini Football (U10 to U12)

2026 Registration fee: $175

Greenhithe Football Club offers two training paths for the Mini Football (Junior) program; social football and development squads.

  • Social football is designed for all levels of player who are looking to take a more relaxed approach to football, training once or twice per week depending on the coach and squad and will play in grades with like-minded teams from across the region.
  • Development squads will be looking to play at the higher levels of grading within the region and stretched in their skills development.  Development squads are expected to train twice per week, once with their assigned team coach, and once with the Director of Football or other professional coach. The club may offer professional coaching for both weekly practices & game day to development squads at its discretion.  Players who are offered and accept a position in a development squad will be required to pay an additional levy to cover professional coaching costs.

Youth Players (U13 to U19)

    2026 Registration fee: $195

    Development Squads are expected to train twice per week, once with their assigned team coach, and once with the Director of Football or other professional coach. The club may offer professional coaching for both weekly practices & game day to Metro/Conference teams at its discretion.  Players who are offered and accept a position in a metro or conference team will be required to pay an additional levy to cover professional coaching costs. 

    Girls Football

    Building on the successes of previous season, Greenhithe FC is working to have as many girls only teams as we can this year across as many of the grades as possible (U9 to U19). So please register and bring your friends as we will do our best to keep you all playing and having fun together. Let us know in the notes field if you want “girls only” or are happy to play in a mixed team.
