Greenhithe Football Club offers two training paths for the Fun and Junior Football programs; social football and development squads - please state your preference on the registration form.
- Social football is for players of all levels who want a more relaxed approach to the game, with just one training session per week. Fun Footballer social teams play in-house against other GFC social teams, while Junior teams compete in grades with teams of a similar skill level from across the region.
- Development squads will be looking to stretch players in their skills development. Development squads are expected to train twice per week, once with their assigned team coach, and once as part of the Skills Centre with a professional coach. The club may offer professional coaching for both weekly practices and game day to development squads at its discretion. Development players pay an additional levy to cover professional coaching costs. ALL players are welcome to join our development programme, within which some may be invited to join our Tier 1 Academy programme. Find out more about our development programme here.
Youth Players (Born 2009-2013)
2026 Registration fee: $195
Development Squads are expected to train twice per week, once with their assigned team coach, and once with the Director of Football or other professional coach. The club may offer professional coaching for both weekly practices & game day to Metro/Conference teams at its discretion. Players who are offered and accept a position in a metro or conference team will be required to pay an additional levy to cover professional coaching costs.
